There was a car accident today (August 29, 2014) in West Chicago, Illinois involving a car that ran into a garage and flipped over.
According to the City of West Chicago, seen in the August 29, 2014 post titled “Man Airlifted to Hospital after Vehicle Crashes into Garage,” the West Chicago Police and Fire units were dispatched at 9:37 a.m. to the house, which is located at the intersection of Colford and Oakwood Avenues.
At the house, a Nissan 4-door sedan was found flipped over in the detached garage. The West Chicago Fire Department extricated the driver, who was then airlifted to Good Samaritan Hospital in unknown condition.
An excerpt from the post:
The initial investigation indicates that the Nissan was traveling southbound on Oakwood Avenue when it drove onto the property, struck the side of the house and then continued into and through the garage, coming to rest on its roof.
The incident remains under investigation.
