There was a pedestrian accident Monday evening (February 15, 2016) in Warrenville.
The accident happened at Route 59 and Meadow Lane.
An excerpt from the Daily Herald article of February 16, 2016, titled “Pedestrian in Warrenville crash in critical condition“:
Police said their preliminary investigation indicates the pedestrian was walking across the southbound lanes of Route 59 about 6:08 p.m. Monday when the traffic signal cycled from red to green.
At that point the driver of the vehicle went south through the intersection and struck the pedestrian.
The pedestrian was taken to a local hospital and was listed in critical condition.
