Driver Faces Charges In Naperville Traffic Accident

The Naperville Sun article of March 18, 2016, titled “7 charges filed in damage-strewn drive” discusses a February 24 crash in Naperville at 111th Street and 248th Avenue.

As seen in the article:

A pickup driver who allegedly hit a fence, veered twice into oncoming lanes of traffic and caused a three-vehicle crash at the end of a 5-mile drive during a snowstorm faces trial for seven traffic violations, Naperville police said.

The driver was identified as Daniel J. Myers, 35, of Oswego.  He was taken to Rush-Copley Medical Center in Aurora for treatment of his accident injuries following the accident.

At the time of the accident, there was reported snowfall in the area.

An excerpt from the March 18 Naperville Patch article titled “Driver Allegedly Hits Fence, Drives Into Incoming Traffic, Causes 3-Vehicle Crash“:

Myers has been charged with two counts of reckless driving, two counts of driving too fast for conditions/failure to reduce an accident, disobeying a traffic control signal and two counts of improper lane usage, according to online court records. It’s unknown if a DUI charge is pending.
