According to police, the accident happened at approximately 9:00 a.m. Sunday (September 14, 2014). After the accident, in which no one was injured, the driver fled on foot and was later located.
According to the DuPage County Sheriff’s Office, the driver was identified as Junior A. Espinal, 32, of Lombard. He was charged with various violations, including driving without a driver’s license.

Espinal was eventually located and told officials that he was pulling into the store for a gallon of milk when the brake pedal on his car got stuck and would not go down, officials said.
