A man was hit by a train near the Lisle Metra station on Monday, March 16. The man who was struck later died from his injuries.
The train struck the man just after 4:00 p.m. The train was inbound train 1272, and it struck the man to the east of the station.

According to the Hinsdale Police, the train accident happened at 7:03 p.m. at the Garfield Crossing. At that time, a 17-year-old girl was struck by a Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railroad train.
The girl was first taken to Adventist Hinsdale Hospital and then transferred to Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood for treatment of accident injuries.

The train accident happened at 10:40 a.m., and involved a man getting fatally struck by a Metra passenger train north of downtown Naperville.
According to the DuPage County Coroner’s Office, the man has been identified as Todd Olson, 33, of Romeoville.
This fatal train accident was the second such fatal train accident in Naperville in the last 11 days. On September 6, 2014, Jennifer Jungels, 36, of Naperville, was fatally struck by a train near the Mill Street overpass.
