There was a pedestrian accident early Sunday morning (August 20, 2017) in Darien.

According to Darien Police, a woman was struck by a car at 5:00 a.m. Sunday. The accident scene was at North Frontage Road, just west of Bailey.

The pedestrian, Emily Houska, 23, of Darien, was transported to Good Samaritan Hospital for treatment, according to the release. Her condition is unknown at this time. Police said the driver of the vehicle was not injured and is cooperating. No charges have been filed at this time.
