Two Motorists Charged In Naperville Traffic Offenses

As discussed on the “DuPage County Vehicle Accidents” page, among the reasons for DuPage County car accidents and other vehicle accidents is that of negligence and mistakes made by motorists.

The Naperville Sun article of September 18, 2014, titled “Crime:  Motorist runs red light, causes three-vehicle crash” highlights a number of traffic accidents and other crimes that recently happened in Naperville.

Two incidents from September 12 include a motorist who was cited for “driving too fast for conditions” as well as a motorist ticketed for “excessive speeding.”  These two incidents are seen below:

Driving too fast: About 2:12 p.m., unidentified motorist charged with failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident/driving too fast for conditions, following three-vehicle, rear-end, chain-reaction traffic crash near 95th Street and Plainfield-Naperville Road; “minor injuries” reported.


Excessive speeding: About 8:33 p.m., unidentified motorist charged with speeding at 74 mph in a 45 mph zone near Bailey and Plainfield-Naperville roads.
